I'm Tisha
A military vet. Mom. Wife. Lover of life, animals, & nature. I started Cashmere Moon back in June 2021. Pregnant with my son, my skin was stretching and intensely dry. Constantly.
Going from store to store, my husband and I found lotions that were easy to apply but just didn't keep my skin moisturized long enough. Growing tired of having to constantly reapply lotions, I looked to pure shea butter. It was ultra-moisturizing and kept my skin moisturized all day - BUT. It was so messy, greasy, and I didn't like the smell.
So, I went on the hunt for a product that was easy to apply like lotion, yet kept my skin moisturized through the day like shea butter - but without the smell and greasiness.
Unable to find such a product, my husband and I scoured the internet for answers. We played around with some formulas we found online and I spent months perfecting it to get it the texture that I desired.
Once the formula was perfected, I loved it so much that I shared with family. It was an instant hit and a business was born!
When we started, we only carried our own Whipped Body Creams, Hand Lotion, and Glow Oil that we make ourselves. Now, we have a store that houses not just our products, but products that are in-line with our values of eco-friendly, efficient, and vegan.
